Inmate unknowingly asks sheriff to be hitman

"Fox & Friends" reports North Texas inmate Tab Denny Johnson unknowingly asking a local sheriff to kill his wife. KXAS reports the discovery may not have been possible if not for a fellow prisoner who informed an officer. Then, law enforcement officials were able to hatch a plan to catch the would-be killer and sheriff Bob Alford started communicating with Johnson posing as a hitman. The Burleson Star notes Johnson may now face two life sentences for the crime. He is being held on $500,000 bond.
