China Tea Leaf Index: Audi Sales Signal Good Times Are Back.
I'm John Foley at Reuters Breakingviews. Our Reuters Breakingviews China Tea leaf Index this month has picked up to 94.4 from 92 last month, so the economy is picking up speed and and one part in particular of our index that is going faster than the others is Audi sales. China's favourite luxury carmaker increased its sales in China by 30 percent measured year-on-year. That's much faster than the overall car market which is only about seven percent.
