Miami is the team to beat in the Mid-American Conference East Division, according to Lindy's College Football Preview Magazine.
The publication predicts the RedHawks will face Central Michigan in a rematch of last year's MAC Championship game.
The magazine also picks linebacker Clayton Mullins as their favorite to win his second straight MAC Defensive Player of the Year honor.
Miami opens the season Aug. 28 when it entertains Vanderbilt.
