Former Colerain girls hoops coach Drew joining Lakota East program

Former Colerain High girls basketball coach Nikki Drew will be the new varsity assistant to Todd Benzinger at Lakota East.
Drew, who was 67-40 in five seasons at Colerain, including 17-5 this past season, will join Benzinger's staff beginning the 2008-09 season.

Benzinger was approved as the Thunderhawks' new coach at the school board meeting Monday night, May 12.
"It's great for the girls," East athletic director Jim Rouff said. "It's two first-class coaches, top-notch, hard working, highly visible people. We're real happy with that."
