Several tourney games postponed

Several area baseball games have been postponed due to the rain.
In the Division I, Cincinnati II sectional, the Middletown-Lakota West, Princeton-Mason and Fairfield-Lakota East baseball games — all scheduled for Wednesday, May 14 — have been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15.

As of 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, the Talawanda-Hamilton baseball game is still on, according to tournament manager Jim Rouff.
In the Division III, Dayton sectional, the Madison-Dayton Christian and Fenwick-Waynesville were washed out until Thursday.
All of the D-I softball tourney games slated for Wednesday were washed away, including the Fairfield-Winton Woods, Mason-McAuley, Lakota East-Amelia, Hamilton-Sycamore and Kings-Withrow matchups, and rescheduled for Thursday.
The D-III doubleheader at Madison — Madison vs. Greeneview and Fenwick vs. Waynesville — is still on, according to Madison Athletic Director Jeff Smith.
