MU golfers seventh after third round
NASHPORT — After three rounds at the Mid-American Conference Championships at Longaberger Golf Club, Miami University's golf team sits in a tie for seventh place heading into today's final round of the three-day, 72-hole tournament.

Freshman Michael Drobnick paced the RedHawks in the third round Saturday, May 3, carding a 75 for the day. He sits in a tie for 18th place at 10-over-par 226.
Freshman Nathan Sutherland leads MU in a tie for 12th place at 7-over-par 223. After firing a 73 and a 72 in the first two rounds, respectively, Sutherland carded a 78 in the third round.
MUH softball wins four straight
HAMILTON — The Miami University Hamilton softball team defeated Ohio University-Zanesville by scores of 4-2 and 4-1 Saturday, May 3, then defeated Miami University Middletown by scores of 9-1 and 11-1 for a four-game sweep of the two Ohio Regional Campus Conference teams.
Leading the way for the Harriers (7-5) were Brittani Stapleton and Robine Suttmiller, each pitching two complete games. Offensively, MUH was led by Sarah Pressler, Kelsey McWhorter, Marie Frank, Missy Keith, Danielle Faulkner, April Hoyte, Samantha Helton, Courtney Rubio and Stacey Ellison.
MUH moved into third place in the ORCC and will begin the league championship tournament Friday at Tealtown Park.
