Check 'n Go has announced it will close a Lebanon location.
A company spokesperson said today Check 'n Go plans to close the site at 1521 Walmart Drive. The closing will be effective Saturday, Dec. 6, according to the company.
No other locations in Warren or Butler counties will be impacted by the consolidation, according to the company.
The company announced last month its plans to consolidate in response to the passage of Issue 5 and the implementation of Ohio's new short-term loan statute.
The closings will impact 36 of its 71 retail stores in communities across the state, the company said.
The closure of more than 50 percent of the company's Ohio retail operations over the next few months will result in the elimination of as many as 75 additional industry positions.
