Location & description:
Located in Waynesville, Caesar Creek State Park is highlighted by clear blue waters, scattered woodlands, meadows and steep ravines. The park offers some of the finest outdoor recreation in southwest Ohio including boating, hiking, camping and fishing.
Camping:
- 285 sites equipped with electrical hook-ups
- Equipped with flush toilets and showers
- Four Rent-a-Camp units include tent, dining fly, cooler, cook stove, and other equipment can be rented during summer months.
- Two camper cabins and one cedar cabin available for rental.
- Pets allowed at designated sites
- Horseman's camp with 25 sites available for overnight trail rides.
Boating:
- Unlimited horsepower boating opportunities on the 2,830 acre lake
- Five boat launch ramps
Fishing & hunting:
- Hunting permitted in adjacent wildlife area
- Fish species include crappie and smallmouth and largemouth bass
- Public fishing pier with wheelchiar access
- Valid Ohio fishing and/or hunting license is required
Swimming:
- 1,300 foot sand beach
- Concession stand and changing booths
Picnic areas:
- Picnic areas available with tables, grills and drinking water
- Two of the park's five shelters available by reservation
- Day lodge with meeting room, kitchen, outdoor tables and grills can be rented for reunions and meetings
Trails:
- 43 miles of hiking trails
- 31 miles of trail and a horseman's camp available
- Five mile mountain bike trail
