Fans of the Miami University hockey team will be cheering tonight, April 11, when the RedHawks play Boston University in the national championship game.
There could be more cheering Monday afternoon to celebrate the team’s first-ever Frozen Four appearance.
Oxford City Manager Doug Elliott said Friday the city is planning a parade for Monday afternoon to honor the team. Elliott said it would start around 2 or 2:30 p.m.
As of Saturday morning, though, the Miami University athletic department had not committed to a parade.
