NEW ORLEANS — Miami University senior Rachel Patterson has been named to the 2010 USTFCCCA All-Academic Cross Country Team, the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association announced Tuesday.

Patterson is an exercise science major with a 3.77 grade-point average. She has claimed the honor twice in track and field and is the first RedHawk to win the award for cross country since Kelsey McHugh in 2008.
