Miami field hockey handles No. 19 Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The sizzling start of Miami University’s field hockey team continued Sunday with a 5-1 win over 19th-ranked Iowa.

Five different players scored for the RedHawks, who are 5-0 and have matched the program’s best start to a season. The 1978 team started 8-0.

Jakie Nguyen, Kate Snyder, Mary Hull, Kylie Landeros and Emily Gruesser scored for Miami.
