DABBELT REPORT AQUA FALLS SHOOTOUT IN KETTERING: The fourth annual Dabbelt Report Aqua Falls Shootout will be held from noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, at the Kettering Recreation Center. Cost is $60 per player and the first 80 paid entries will be selected with a waiting list after. Deadline to enter is June 1. FRANKLIN FOOTBALL ALUMNI MEETING JUNE 2: The newly-formed Franklin Football Alumni Association will be holding its second meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2 at the Franklin Golf Course. Former Wildcat football players, coaches and avid fans are invited to attend. The association will be collecting a $20 membership fee which will include an embroidered association polo shirt.

MIDDLETOWN AMATEUR SLATED FOR FOUR SITES: The Men’s Middletown Amateur golf tournament will be hosted by different courses this year. The cost for entry is $140 per golfer. The tournament field is limited to the first 96 contestants. The entry deadline is June 3. Groupings will be available online at www.middletowncitychamp.org on June 14. The entry fee includes four rounds of golf at Weatherwax (June 17), Wildwood (June 18), Shaker Run (June 19) and Brown’s Run (June 20). Practice rounds will be available at each of the courses for $25 including cart. Practice rounds must be scheduled and are only available after official entry into the tournament is confirmed. Applications can be picked up at any of the four participating courses, or online at www.middletowncitychamp.org.

MADISON LOOKING FOR GIRLS SOCCER COACH: The Madison Local School District is looking for a varsity girls soccer coach. Interested applicants should have a soccer background with some type of coaching experience. Any applicant interested in applying for the position should send a resume, letter of interest and references to Athletic Director Darren Stevens by June 4. Hard copies of these items can be sent to Madison Jr./Sr. High School, 5797 West Alexandria Road, Middletown, OH 45042 (Attn: Athletic Director) or faxed to (513) 420-4914. ROSS HOLDING MULTIPLE SUMMER CAMPS: Ross High School will offer a number of different athletic camps this summer. Football: A free clinic for Little Pro coaches will be held June 5. The K-8 camp will be held July 19-22 for $40. Boys basketball: Grades 1-4 and 5-9 will go from 9 a.m. to noon on June 7-10 for $65. Girls basketball: Grades 2-9 will go from 9 a.m. to noon on June 15-18 for $75. Volleyball: Grades 4-9 will go from 1-3 p.m. on June 7-10 for $60. There will also be an elementary skill development camp (grades 3-8) on June 17, 24, July 8, 27 and 29 from 8-9 p.m. for $50. Boys and girls soccer: Ages 8-14 will go 6-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 2-6 for $35. The Midwest Soccer Camp for boys and girls will be held July 19-23 for grades 7-12. Times are 8-10:30 a.m. each day and 6-8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Cost is $159. Wrestling: Grades 3-8 will go from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on June 7-11 and grades 7-12 will go from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on June 13-18. There is no cost for either camp. Tennis: Open courts will be held Wednesdays from June 17 to Aug. 25. Clinics will be held Sundays from 6-7:30 p.m. from June 21 to Aug. 9. All events are free. BOYS BASKETBALL CAMP AT FENWICK: There will be four sessions available for participants in the Fenwick High School boys basketball camp. The first two sessions will be held June 7-11 with the first session running from 9 a.m. to noon for boys in grades 3-5, and the second session running from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. for boys in grades 6-7. Cost is $70 per camper for these two sessions. Session III will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m. June 14-16 for boys in kindergarten through second grade. Cost for this session is $50 each. Session IV will be for eighth-grade boys and will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 14-18. Cost for this session is $70. For more information, call the athletic department at (513) 423-0724.

FENWICK CHEERLEADING CAMP IN JUNE: Fenwick High School will host a cheerleading camp on three Saturday mornings in June for girls in grades 1-7. The camps will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on June 5, 12 and 19 at the high school. Cost is $60 per camper. For more information, call the athletic department at (513) 423-0724.

TODD TENNIS ACCEPTING SIGNUPS: The Todd Junior Tennis Program is now accepting sign-ups. The summer camp is open to Middletown area youth entering grades K-8. The camp is a six-week instructional series of beginning tennis provided on tennis courts located at Edgewood, Fenwick, Madison, Middletown and Monroe high schools, as well as Miami University Middletown and Sunset Park. Classes run June 9-July 20 followed by a tournament for all participants on July 21-22. The cost is $35 per child, which includes a camp T-shirt and six weeks (18 hours) of instructional tennis. Signups will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 5 at John XXIII Elementary School. Sign-up forms are available at www.toddtennis.org. TALAWANDA GOLF PROGRAM SPONSORING TOURNAMENT: The Talawanda Braves golf program will sponsor an 18-hole, medal-play Junior Open Golf Tournament on Monday, June 14, at the Oxford Country Club. Entry fee is $30, which includes green fee and lunch. Prizes will be awarded to winners and runners up in three age divisions: 17-18, 15-16 and 13-14. Registration forms will be available at area high schools, or applicants may call tournament director Alan Sepsi at (513) 523-5461 to request a form. Deadline for entry is June 7.
