KINECT NATIONALS 13U BASEBALL TRYOUTS: The Kinect nationals 13U baseball team will hold tryouts from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 24 and from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 25 at Brandt Field. Registration begins 30 minutes prior to each tryouts session. Interested players should not turn 14 before May 1, 2011. MIDDLETOWN SEASON TICKETS ON SALE: Middletown High School season tickets for the upcoming year are available. The athletic department encourages all previous season ticket holders to order their tickets in order to secure the seats they held last year. Middie fans looking for ideal seat location and free parking are encouraged to purchase reserved season tickets for both basketball and football. MADISON HAS COACHING OPENINGS: The Madison High School Athletic Department has several seventh- and eighth-grade coaching positions open for the upcoming 2010-2011 sports season: Reserve volleyball coach, basketball season cheerleading advisor, football season cheerleading advisor, cross country coach and boys track coach. Interested individuals should send letter of interest and resume to Athletic Director Darren Stevens at Madison High School, 5797 W. Alexandria Road, Middletown, OH 45042. EASTERN OFFERS FREE YOUTH BOWLING: The Eastern Lanes bowling establishment, 6242 Coles Road in Middletown, has joined the national Kids Bowl Free program this summer. By registering at the facility or online at www.KidsBowlFree.com/EasternOH, area youth can bowl two free games each day throughout the summer. A Family Pass option also is available. PICKLEBALL LESSONS OFFERED: Beginning adult pickleball lessons will be held on Thursdays beginning at 9 a.m. on the Stanley Volkens Pickleball Courts, which are located at Lefferson Park in Middletown. OHIO HEAT HOLDING TRYOUTS: The Ohio Heat will hold 2011 tryouts for the 9U, 10U, and 11U age groups on Saturday, July 24, at the West Chester Baseball Complex. All three teams will play in the National Division of the Southwest Ohio League. NEW MIAMI HOLDING COW CHIP DROP EVENT: The New Miami Little Pro football organization is having a cow chip drop event July 24. DOCKERS SEEKING PLAYERS: The Cincinnati Dockers Australian Rules Football Club is looking for anyone interested in playing for the team. No experience is necessary. Their next game is at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 24, against the visiting Columbus Jackaroos.

HAMILTON HIGH GOLF TRYOTUS: The Hamilton High School varsity boys golf team will hold tryouts starting at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 2, at Potter Park Golf Course. On Aug. 3-5, the tryouts will be at Twin Run, also at 1 p.m. For more information, call coach Eddie Baker at (513) 265-3796.

SPRINGBORO DESTROYERS 13U BASEBALL TRYOUTS WEDNESDAY: The Springboro Destroyers 13U baseball team will hold open tryouts from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 26, at Action Sports Center Field No. 2. BADIN HOSTING FOOTBALL CAMP: The Badin High School-CYO football camp is set for July 27-29 from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $60 and grades 1-8 are eligible.
