Here are details on the Player of the Year candidates chosen by our sports staff:
- Willy Davidge, senior, boys golf: Earned Fort Ancient Valley Conference Scarlet Division Player of the Year honors for second straight season and qualified for district tourney for third straight year.
- Stephanie McCabe, senior, girls tennis: Was named Fort Ancient Valley Conference Scarlet Division player of the year for the second straight season.
- Phillip Bennett, senior, boys cross country: Runner of the year in the Fort Ancient Valley Conference Scarlet Division advanced to Division I regional meet.; three-time, first-team all-league honoree.
