JV football defensive players shine

The Talawanda junior varsity football team fell to Ross 27-18 Monday, Oct. 26.

The team made two rushing touchdowns first, missing both two-point conversions, but keeping the game tied early.

Casey Abrams then made a 30-yard passing touchdown to Andrew Kane, bringing to game to 20-18.

Defensive players made big plays in the game, with Andrew Richardson making an interception and Landon Hinkle recovering two fumbles.

Defensive players Dalton Prater and Sam Hornsby also played well.

The team wraps their season at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31 against Norwood.
