TALAWANDA 7, ELDER 2: The Braves improved to a league-best 5-2 in the Southwest Ohio High School Hockey League with a road win over the Panthers on Sunday at the Cincinnati Gardens. Justin McGoldrick and Mason Miller scored two goals apiece, and Tommy Clayton, Brandon Tafelski and Zach Sens also scored. Clayton had two assists, and Sens, Miller, Tafelski and Kyle Engel had single helpers. Andy Sens made 17 stops in goal. Mitch Poetter made two saves for the Braves (7-7 overall). THS hosts Dublin Coffman on Friday and Toledo St. John’s on Saturday at Goggin Ice Center.
