Reds first baseman Joey Votto and Brewers closer John Axford are co-winners of this year’s Tip O’Neill Award given by the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame to the top Canadian major leaguer. Votto was an NL All-Star and Axford led the league with 46 saves. Votto also won in 2010, his MVP season.
