The Cincinnati Bengals signed DT Clinton McDonald of Memphis, one of the team’s seventh-round selections in the 2009 draft, on Monday, June 22, according to a press release.

McDonald (6-2, 283) ranked third in Conference USA last season in sacks (seven) and was a starter for the East in the East-West Shrine Game. He played four seasons at Memphis, appearing in 48 games with 33 starts.

McDonald is the fourth of Cincinnati’s 11 draft picks to sign, joining CB Morgan Trent of Michigan (sixth round), HB Bernard Scott of Abilene Christian (sixth round) and WR Freddie Brown of Utah (seventh round).
