CSI star Marg Helgenberger has separated from her husband of nearly 20 years, actor Alan Rosenberg.
“After 19 years of marriage, Marg and Alan have decided to take some time apart,” the actress’s rep said in a statement. “They love and respect each other and remain committed to their family.” Helgenberger, 50, and Rosenberg, 57, have an 18-year-old son.
Rosenberg is also president of the 120,000-member Screen Actors Guild, which is at an impasse in contract negotiations with the studios, with the possibility of a strike looming.

Tina Fey never liked to talk about her facial scar, which made it all anybody ever wanted to talk about. In her new Vanity Fair cover story, her husband decided it was time to come clean — let’s hope he got her permission. For the record, Mr. Fey is named Jeff Richmond, and he does the music for “30 Rock,” much like he did for “Saturday Night Live” when Tina was there. Here’s the VF excerpt:
Liz Lemon favors her right side. That’s because a faint scar runs across Tina Fey’s left cheek, the result of a violent cutting attack by a stranger when Fey was five. Her husband says, “It was in, like, the front yard of her house, and somebody who just came up, and she just thought somebody marked her with a pen.”
“That scar was fascinating to me,” Richmond recalls. “This is somebody who, no matter what it was, has gone through something. And I think it really informs the way she thinks about her life. When you have that kind of thing happen to you, that makes you scared of certain things, that makes you frightened of different things, your comedy comes out in a different kind of way, and it also makes you feel for people.”
Fey herself rarely mentions the episode. “It’s impossible to talk about it without somehow seemingly exploiting it and glorifying it,” she says. Did she feel less attractive growing up because of it? “I don’t think so,” she says. “Because I proceeded unaware of it. I was a very confident little kid. It’s really almost like I’m kind of able to forget about it, until I was on-camera, and it became a thing of ‘Oh, I guess we should use this side’ or whatever. Everybody’s got a better side.”

Ivana Trump has separated from her fourth husband, Rossano Rubicondi. Trump, 59, issued a statement announcing her split from her 36-year-old Italian entrepreneur husband, whom she married in April.
According to her statement, Trump filed for legal separation three months ago but never went public because she did not want it to interfere with Rubicondi’s participation on the Italian edition of Survivor.
“Rossano wants to live in Miami and work in Milan,” Trump says. “But, I am a New Yorker and my family, friends and businesses are here. As the beautiful song says, `Que sera sera!’”
The two were married in Palm Beach, Fla., at Donald Trump’s estate after dating for six years.

The junkie diva, 25, who is in a London clinic following a seizure, asked her dad Mitch to organize the meeting. Amy is being treated after a phone bust-up with her husband.
Druggie Blake continued to make angry calls to her after she was kept in hospital for tests. The Sun revealed on Tuesday that Amy went on a drink and drugs binge sparked by the screaming match.
Blake then ranted over the phone at cab driver Mitch for “obstructing” their relationship.
But pals say Amy wanted to end the marriage and then asked her dad to bring divorce lawyers to hospital for a meeting.
Blake, 26 — out on early release — failed to get a cut in his 27-month sentence for attacking a pub landlord and perverting justice.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes must be thankful for Victoria and David Beckham: the two families celebrated turkey day together in New York City.
Wearing sky-high heels, Victoria joined her husband and sons, Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3, as they went to the Big Apple Circus with Cruise, Holmes (in suede boots, jeans and a navy pea coat) and their children, Suri, 2, and Connor, 13, and Isabella, 15. (They even made a Starbucks run along the way!)
The powerhouse families then took a tour of Central Park, complete with a horse and carriage ride through the city. It wasn’t their only outing this week. On Wednesday, they took in a meal at the Italian eatery Il Cantinori and the Beckhams watched Holmes’ performance in All My Sons on Broadway.
The Cruises and the Beckhams are longtime pals. Cruise and Holmes even threw them a lavish welcoming bash when they moved to Los Angeles last year.
In December’s British GQ, Beckham said he has a ball chilling with the Cruise clan.
“We just go round and watch a film,” he said. “It’s not a big deal, it’s just popping round to watch a film or to mess around and play with the kids.” He denied reports that Cruise tried to convert him to Scientology.
“Tom is a big believer in Scientology, but he’s never pushed anything on to us about it, and he never will do,” he said. “Friends don’t do that.”

Michael Phelps has taken another lap with his girlfriend — a big one. She’s spending Thanksgiving in Baltimore with him and his family.
The Olympic champ has been dating Las Vegas cocktail waitress Caroline “Caz” Pal, 26, for about two months. The two met after his record-setting performance in Beijing last summer.
“She’s there [in Maryland] meeting his family for the first time,” a source close to Pal tells People.
Along with dating Pal, a waitress at the Palms Casino Resort’s Moon Nightclub, Phelps is spending time in Vegas working on his poker game. Sources say he’s hoping to participate in the 2009 World Series of Poker. He recently made it to the final table of the Caesars Palace Poker Classic.
“It was fun!” he said after the tournament. “It’s just like a game that I could become better at and use some of my competitiveness at the poker table.”

On her talk show today (11/26), Ellen DeGeneres put Mariah Carey in the hot seat over rumors that she and husband Nick Cannon are expecting their first child.
“People are saying that you’re pregnant,” DeGeneres says.
“No, that’s OK,” Carey coyly replies.
Telling her she doesn’t have to answer, DeGeneres then tries to get Carey to take a sip of champagne. But Carey tells her it’s “just fattening. That’s not champagne. You can’t have it on TV.
“I can’t believe you did this to me, Ellen,” she later adds. “This is peer pressure.”
DeGeneres then tells her, “let’s toast to you not being pregnant.” Replies Carey, “Oh, my goodness! I can’t believe her! Why would we toast to that? How about to the future?”
Carey pretends to drink the champagne as she adds, “It’s too early for me. I only drink after 3 p.m.!”
“You’re pregnant,” DeGeneres flat-out tells her.
“I didn’t say that. No, no, no. My mother would be at home, like on the computer, like what are you talking about?” Carey replies. “We will let you know when we’re going to have a family.”
Meanwhile, Carey also explains how she and Cannon did not consummate their relationship before tying the knot “We were intimate, but we weren’t completely intimate in the biblical sense,” Carey said.
