LIBERTY TWP. — Intersection improvements at Ohio 747 and Kyles Station Road are scheduled to shift to their second phase beginning next week, according to the Butler County Engineer's Office.
Both the north and south legs of Ohio 747 will open to traffic today, Aug. 29. All four legs of the intersection will remain open through the upcoming holiday weekend, according to the county.
The second phase is scheduled to begin Tuesday, Sept. 2, with the closing of Kyles Station Road. This closing is expected to be in effect for approximately one month, during which there will be no access to Kyles Station from Creekside Meadows, according to the county. Residents of this subdivision will be required to enter and exit through The Estates of Falling Waters.
The third and final phase of the $2.69 million project is scheduled to begin in late September or early October and involves closing the west leg of Kyles Station Road. During that phase, the north, south and east legs will be open, according to the county.
During the second phase, motorists heading east on Kyles Station will detour south on Ohio 747, east on Millikin Road, north on Yankee Road and west on Kyles Station, according to the county.
