Due to the success of the inaugural Oxford Wine & Art Affair, the Oxford Chamber of Commerce was able to establish a scholarship fund through the Oxford Community Foundation.

The scholarship will be awarded to a student pursuing post secondary education at a vocational school. This year’s recipient, Caleb Daniel Wright, is a 2009 graduate of Talawanda High School and will use his $500 scholarship to assist him in attending Ohio State University’s Agricultural Technical Institute.

Everyone can help build the scholarship fund and support local businesses by attending the second Oxford Wine & Art Affair. This destination event will be held from 4 to 9:30 p.m. today and Saturday, June 26-27, in Oxford’s Uptown Parks.
