Kent State stats: Quarterback Spencer Keith is 123-of-211 for 1,266 yards and eight touchdowns with three interceptions. The top receivers are Dri Archer (25 catches, 333 yards, three TDs), Josh Boyle (24 catches, 316 yards, three TDs) and Matthew Hurdle (22 catches, 222 yards, one TD). The leading rushers are Archer (97 carries, 892 yards, 10 TDs) and Trayion Durham (190 carries, 887 yards, 11 TDs).
Miami stats: Quarterback Zac Dysert is 213-of-347 for 2,467 yards and 18 touchdowns with nine interceptions. The top receivers are Dawan Scott (39 catches, 630 yards, five TDs), Andy Cruse (60 catches, 499 yards, four TDs) and Nick Harwell (41 catches, 498 yards, six TDs). The leading rushers are Jamire Westbrook (70 carries, 272 yards, two TDs), Dysert (75 carries, 224 yards, one TD) and Spencer Treadwell (57 carries, 195 yards, one TD).
A Flashy streak: This is the first time that Kent State has been 5-0 in MAC play. It has been a member of the conference since 1951.
Crusing along: Miami senior Andy Cruse is one of only 24 Football Bowl Subdivision receivers to have at least 60 catches this season.
Through the air: The RedHawks are third in the MAC in passing yards per game, averaging 283.4. The Flashes are the second-worst conference team in pass defense, giving up 260.1 yards per contest.
Punting success: Kent State freshman Anthony Melchiori is averaging 42.2 yards on 44 punts, dropping 18 kicks inside the 20-yard line. KSU opponents have 15 total punt-return yards this year.
Running receiver: Miami’s top rusher in terms of yards per carry is wide receiver Dawan Scott, who has a 6.0 average (11 carries, 66 yards).
Home turf: The RedHawks are 3-0 at home this season and have won six of their last seven games at Yager Stadium.
Tough on D: Kent State junior defensive tackle Roosevelt Nix leads all active FBS players in career tackles for loss (49.5). He’s third in forced fumbles (10) and 10th in sacks (19.0).
