His top receivers are Andy Cruse (20 catches, 108 yards, 1 TD), Nick Harwell (11 catches, 141 yards, 1 TD) and Dawan Scott (nine catches, 118 yards). Spencer Treadwell leads the running backs with 77 yards on 18 carries.

Bronco stats: Quarterback Joe Southwick has completed 15-of-31 passes for 169 yards with one interception. He’s also the leading rusher with 18 yards on four carries. The top receivers are Kirby Moore (six catches, 52 yards) and Matt Miller (two catches, 54 yards).

Pat’s picks: Miami outside linebacker Pat Hinkel is one of only 22 Football Bowl Subdivision players with at least two interceptions this season.

Kaleb’s kicks: MU freshman place-kicker Kaleb Patterson is 2-for-3 on field goals this year. The RedHawks made just two field goals in 2011 (Mason Krysinski was 2-for-6).

No Top 25: The Broncos are ranked 26th in this week’s Associated Press and USA Today polls. Today will mark the first time they’ve played a game where they’ve been ranked outside the Top 25 since Sept. 20, 2008.

Point parade: Boise State is the highest-scoring team in the nation since 2000, averaging 41.77 points per game. Yet the Broncos were held without an offensive touchdown for the first time in 15 years in their season-opening 17-13 loss to Michigan State.
