Water park will fill 500 jobs

The Beach waterpark plans to hire 500 workers this summer.

The water park will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, to hire nearly 500 seasonal summer employees for all departments.

The park needs staff admissions, cash control, catering, communications, ecology, entertainment, first aid, food service, guest services, lifeguards, maintenance, merchandise, pool cleaners, rentals, season pass, security and warehouse.

Lifeguard applicants must be CPR certified and pass a swim test at the park. All deep guards must be Lifeguard Certified. Internship positions in the marketing and human resources departments are also available.

All applicants must be at least 16 years old. A work permit is required by the state of Ohio for all associates under the age of 18.

Applicants can complete an application at the fair or online at www.thebeachwaterpark.com and bring it to the fair. Attendees should bring a state-issued driver's license or state-issued ID card and a Social Security card or birth certificate.
