HAMILTON — The Butler County 211 Call Center operated by the Community Counseling & Crisis Center is closing Dec. 31 due to a loss of funding. It receives about 100 calls per day, officials said.
The 211 call center opened in 2003. The Community Counseling & Crisis Center has been in existence for 38 years and continues to operate.

Get back in your cruiser and eat a donut. The Sheriff and his huge jail have bankrupted the county. His PR skills are excellent and he is more powerful politically than anyone in the county. This 211 service could have been saved had the Sheriff met his budget cut target. People will likely die but King Richard's Kingdom survives unscathed.
