Vacant house damaged by early morning fire

HAMILTON —

Emergency crews responded to a fire at a vacant house early today.

Around 1:30 a.m., the Hamilton Fire Department responded to 1121 North B. Street and found flames coming from the front windows of the one-story vacant structure, according to a release. Plywood had to be removed from the windows before operations began.

No one was injured. Damage is estimated around $50,000.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
