On Sunday, Congregation members from eight local churches, along with TriState Habitat for Humanity staff and volunteers, will gather at 2 p.m. for a dedication ceremony for a Habitat home recently completed in partnership with the Boggs Family in Oxford.

The ceremony also serves to recognize TriState’s “Building on Faith” initiative.

“Churches are one of Habitat’s most valued partners,” said Natalie Nuce, resource development officer for TriState Habitat for Humanity. “I am delighted to have some faithful and committed volunteers and donors to help make these projects possible.”

Members from Oxford Presbyterian Church, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Mary Catholic Church, Faith Lutheran, Hopedale Unitarian Universalist Community, Society of Friends of Oxford, Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, and Oxford Methodist Church will be on hand to celebrate with the Boggs family.

Shawnta Boggs said she can’t wait to become a contributing member of the Oxford community and is looking forward to celebrating her first Christmas with her daughter Layla in their new home.

“This whole experience has been such a blessing to me and my family, I see God’s hand in it all,” she said.

TriState Habitat for Humanity, established in 2001, serves families in the eight counties surrounding metropolitan Cincinnati.
