OXFORD —

The Three Valley Conservation Trust will hold its annual Fall Picnic from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7 at the Beck Farm, located at 5920 Morning Sun Road.

All are invited to celebrate the Three Valley Conservation Trust’s awarding of national land trust accreditation and 18 years of stream, habitat and farmland preservation in Southwest Ohio and Southeast Indiana.

Participants are invited to join friends and neighbors for TVCT Board members’ family recipes for sides and desserts, accompanied by donated burgers and ham sandwiches, as well as beverages.

Live music will be provided by Anachrorhythms, and there will be activities for kids, and guided wildflower and bird walks through the Beck Farm forest and native prairie.

New this year is a first-ever Three Valley Cornhole Tournament.

The event is free. Donations will be accepted. Carpooling is suggested because parking is limited; there is parking at the top of the hill for complete accessibility.

The Three Valley Conservation Trust partners with people and communities to conserve the natural environment and cultural heritage in its service area for future generations. To date, the Trust has protected 114 properties covering 14,300 acres of habitat and farmland, as well as 58 miles of stream in parts of 8 counties.

For more information, or to get involved, call the Three Valley Conservation Trust office at (513) 524-2150 or email office manager@3vct.org.
