Quilters, Dennis Adams and friends, will visit Oxford Seniors at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24 to demonstrate several quilt patterns and how they are pieced.

Dennis and his friends stay connected by common interests. They are retired from Miami University and what started as charity work ended in making quilt blocks a week. The group is taking part in Eleanor Burns’ newest patterns “Quilts from El’s Kitchen.”

The Senior Center is located at 922 Tollgate Drive in Oxford. Call (513) 523.8100 for more information.

Come vote your approval for the slate of incoming board candidates and learn about the state of Oxford Seniors. Bring a covered dish to share or contribute a donation to help cover the cost of the meal.

• The Community Adult Day Service is holding its fifth annual Walk of the Generations on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at Campus Clubhouse at The Knolls of Oxford, 6727 Contreras Road.
