The Seaview Concert in the Park will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday in the Oxford Uptown Park. The event is free.

The music guest is Tim Easton, who recently finished an Alaskan summer tour in which he played in Hope, Alaska at the Seaview bar owned by the aunt of Steve Thomas, owner of Seaview Outfitters in Oxford, who said the bar was the inspiration for Seaview Outfitters.

The event will offer both music and story-telling from both The Seaview in Alaska and the Seaview in Oxford, according to Thomas. Seaview also will hold a free picnic dinner with hot dogs, chips and desserts for all who attend the concert.

The Seaview will also offer in-store savings during the show with special discounts on Patagonia, Vineyard Vines, Columbia Sportswear, Mountain Hardwear, Oakley and Ray Ban sunglasses and more.
