An Oxford man allegedly was robbed at gun point on Nov. 6 while visiting a residence on Central Avenue. Police charged a man, 18, with complicity to aggravated burglary and robbery while armed with a deadly weapon. He was transported to Butler County Jail. Later two juveniles, both 17, were charged with complicity to aggravated robbery and complicity to aggravated burglary. The property taken during the alleged robbery belonged to a male Miami student who lived at the residence, the Oxford man told police.

A male Miami University student reported to Oxford Police that he was assaulted from behind by an unknown assailant at approximately 1:15 a.m. Nov. 10 while walking alone on College Avenue in the area of Vine Street. The victim was treated for an orbital bone fracture in his skull and released from McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, according to a police report. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Oxford Police at 513-524-5240.

A Hamilton man was charged with aggravated burglary and two Hamilton men and one Hamilton woman were charged with burglary after they allegedly broke into the Arrowhead Drive apartment of an Oxford man while he and his roommate were sleeping early in the morning of Nov. 14. The Oxford man reported to police that his front door had been broken and that he got into an argument with one of the Hamilton men concerning an earlier conflict. The argument turned into a fight and the Oxford man allegedly was punched in the face. Authorities from the Butler County Sheriff’s Office later located all four suspects, who were transported to Butler County Jail.
