DAYTON —

A light rain should taper off before sunrise Thursday and clouds clearing out a bit west, but not east. The areas west of I-75 will drop to or even a little below freezing Thursday morning, areas east of I-75 with clouds only drop to about 35. Roads will dry out west before temperatures fall below freezing, so icy spots shouldn’t develop.

Expect partly sunny skies late Thursday morning into the early afternoon hours. More clouds arrive later in the day. Thursday will be warmer with highs in the upper 40s. It’ll be cloudy overnight with a possible sprinkle. Lows will be in the 30s toward Friday morning.

Friday will be sunny and warm, with a high of 52 which is still several degrees below average.

There will be some sun to start Saturday, then afternoon clouds and a chance for showers by evening.

Rain should taper off Sunday morning with some late-day sun. Both days will have highs in the upper 40s.

Monday will bring highs in the mid 40s with some clouds and a stray flurry possible.
