Liberty Nursing to hold silent auction of Wendt’s works

OXFORD —

Local artist Marta Clark Wendt recently donated her entire art collection of 18 pieces to Liberty Nursing Center in Oxford to help raise money to bring Miami University’s Opening Minds through Art intergenerational program to Liberty.

To that end, a silent auction will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at Liberty Nursing Center, which is located at 6099 Fairfield Road, Oxford, 45056.

In addition to the exhibit and auction, there will be refreshments.

OMA specializes in promoting social engagement, autonomy and dignity to older adults through creating art with people living with dementia.
