Crash pulls down power lines; closes road

MADISON TWP —

A one-vehicle crash Thursday evening on Mosiman Road in Madison Twp. pulled down power lines and shut down roads in the area for more than two hours.

The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. when a cargo van driven by Jeremy Joseph, 42, of Mosiman, went off of southbound side of the road hitting a pole and pulling live wires across the intersection of Ohio 122, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Joseph was treated at the scene for minor injures. The road was closed by fire, medic and utility units until about 7 p.m.
