‘Facebook to Faithbook’ explores impact of small churches

MONROE — The Archdiocese of Cincinnati Small Church Communities Formation Team will host a SCC Formation Day, “Facebook to Faithbook: Connecting Our Story to Jesus’ Story,” on Saturday, Nov. 14.

The Rev. John Krumm, pastor of St. Brigid Church in Xenia and a board member of the National Alliance of Parishes Restructuring into Communities, will serve as keynote speaker during the event scheduled to run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish in Monroe.

He is a proponent of small church communities and brings an awareness of the impact they can have on parish life, said the Archdiocese of Cincinnati.

Krumm will provide knowledge on meeting the challenges and the opportunities SCC’s present to the parish and to the members, the Archdiocese said.

Reservations are required.

The $25 fee includes continental breakfast and lunch. For groups of three or more from the same parish the cost is $20 per person,
