West Chester fitness center touts suspension training program

Staff Report

WEST CHESTER TWP. — Fitworks Fitness Center now is offering a “cutting edge” training program born in the U.S. Navy Seals.

The TRX Suspension Training method is “designed to build strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability,” according to a release from Fitworks. It can be adjusted for all fitness levels.

The tool consists of thick nylon straps bolted to the ceiling and walls with adjustable pulleys and straps that have soft handles for hand or feet grips. Fitworks staff said it allows for the use of multiple planes of motion and works multiple muscles and joints simultaneously.

The West Chester club is the first Fitworks location to premier TRX Suspension Training. It is located at 7060 Ridgetop Drive. For more, go to www.fitworks.com/westchester.
