OXFORD — An Oxford woman was attacked last week by a stranger who grabbed her by the throat and threatened, according to police.

A man pushed the woman against a building, making verbal threats, behind the laundry room at 5273 College Corner Pike at about 8:45 p.m. March 11, according to a police report.

The woman told the man she is pregnant and pleaded for him to release her. He did and she ran to her residence, according to the report.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5-feet 7-inches tall, thin build and about 30 years old.
