LIBERTY TWP. — A school bus and a car collided at the intersection of Bromley Drive and Stillington Drive in Liberty Twp Thursday, March 11. Students from Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School were on the bus at the time of the crash but were not injured, according to school officials.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection on report of the crash at about 2:45 p.m.

Minor injuries were reported, though no children were hurt in the crash, said Laura Kursman, spokeswoman for Lakota Local School District.

“They are being transferred to another bus. They will be a little bit late getting home,” Kursman said.

Crews had cleared the scene by 3:15 p.m. and no one was transported to the hospital, according to Butler County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers.

Kursman did not know how many children were still aboard the bus at the time of the collision.

It’s not clear if anyone was cited in the crash.
