OXFORD — Police are looking for a man who entered an East Walnut Street apartment over the weekend and awoke a man with two knives from the kitchen.

A Miami University student called police after he woke up when a stranger turned on his bedroom light, rubbed two kitchen knives together and said he wanted to know where everyone was, according to police.

The student told police the man, who was drunk, then left his bedroom, knocked on the locked door of another bedroom and then put one of the knives into the locked door of a third bedroom before leaving the apartment at about 3 a.m. Friday, March 5, according to police.

Nothing was taken and no one was injured, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white male, college aged, with short hair and was wearing a red fleece.
