Fairfield police have arrested an 18-year-old for aggravated robbery for allegedly robbing a check cashing store on Dixie Highway last month.

Charles Dimitrice Warren of Cincinnati was arrested Friday, Aug. 29 at the Fairfield Police Department for allegedly robbing Check-N-Go, 6625 Dixie Hwy., with Allen Scott, 18, of Fairfield. He was found at Pace High School, a dropout recovery and prevention school, in Cincinnati.

Police report the two allegedly stole $690.

Warren was arraigned in Fairfield Municipal Court on Tuesday, Sept. 2. He is in the Butler County Jail and Judge Joyce Campbell raised Warren's bond from $25,000 to $150,000. A preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. Sept. 11.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Scott two weeks ago and are still looking for him, said spokesman Lt. Ken Colburn. Though the other suspect has not been arrested, he said the case is solved.

"We still have to get the one guy," he said of Scott, "we have a warrant on him."

Police are still investigating two other robberies, but have not released any information beyond the initial comments after each occurred.

Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob First Financial Bank on Ohio 4 at Symmes Road on Aug. 5. The man did not get away with any money and was seen fleeing the area in a black car with a white racing stripe. Police are also looking for two men who stole an undisclosed amount of cash from Marathon, 5161 Dixie Hwy., on Aug. 12.

The three Fairfield incidents occurred within a 3.5-mile stretch of Dixie Highway and were committed by men with weapons.
