Monday, September 24, 2007

A South Lebanon man was indicted Friday by a Warren County grand jury on multiple charges in two separate incidents, according to the Warren County Prosecutor's Office.

The most serious charges against 19-year-old Travis J. Bates are corrupting another with drugs and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, said Warren County Prosecutor Rachel Hutzel. Bates allegedly gave the drug Klonopin to a 14-year-old girl and then had sex with her in the River Bluffs Estates mobile home park in South Lebanon, Hutzel said. Bates also faces charges of domestic violence and disrupting public services stemming from a July 24 incident. He allegedly threatened his live-in girlfriend and broke her cell phone.
