| Kelly Pavlik (left) fights Jermain Taylor at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Feb. 16. Pavlik, who won the WBC and WBO middleweight titles against Taylor in September 2007, proved too strong in a nontitle bout that was fought at a catch weight in the super middleweight band. It was the first time Pavlik had been taken the distance since 2004, but the Ohio fighter threw far more punches. |
