• Dr. John Murphy has resigned as Wayneville's boys coach after four seasons. He has been with the school for more than three decades, having served as the team football doctor since the mid-1970s. Murphy previously coached boys hoops at Bellbrook, Stivers and Stebbins.

"It's time to move on," he said.

• Fenwick boys coach Pat Kreke and Piqua assistant Marcus Bixler are among the field to apply for the Hamilton boys job. The position opened when Larry Allen retired from coaching last month.
