Miami student on 'Oprah' today

OXFORD — Miami University freshman Lexie Kadlec will be featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" today, Oct. 22.
Lexie was filmed live by The Oprah Winfrey Show this morning on campus while her dad, Dan Kadlec, a writer for "Money" magazine was in the Oprah studio in Chicago.
Kadlec had written an article for "Money" in September in the form of a letter to Lexie titled "A Letter to My College-Bound Daughter" with financial tips on money issues, such as credit cards, books, laundry, entertainment and even Starbucks.
Lexie spoke with Oprah through Skype from an off-campus apartment.
The show is scheduled to air at 4 p.m. on Ch. 9, WCPO.
