Little Miami's Grice appears on Lottery show
Thursday, July 17, 2008
The Ohio Lottery has provided funds for public education for 34 years, so it is only appropriate that a school board member would appear on the Cash Explosion Double Play game show.
Little Miami school board member Bobbi Grice, of Morrow, won $7,800 on the July 12 episode of Cash Explosion.
Grice said her sister and brother-in-law were visiting from Virginia and won three entries into the Cash Explosion drawing. When her brother-in-law's name was chosen, he was unable to make the appearance, so Grice stepped in.
After taxes and splitting the winnings with her brother-in-law, Grice took home $2,600 – not a bad return for a $1 investment, she said.
"It was an experience," Grice said. "You hit a button when you want (the cursor) to stop and you win money."
