Oxford Police

Yehualashet Getachew, 24, 105 W. Sycamore St., was arrested after being stopped for making an improper U-turn on North Main St. and charged with OVI, lighted lights and prohibited u-turn on July 11.

A College Corner Pike resident reported she was assaulted by a known offender on July 13.

A female juvenile, 16, was stopped for a traffic violation and several items of drug paraphernalia were found in her purse on July 3.

Brian Meade, 21, 100 Lantern Ridge Road, was charged with two turn signal infractions, two marked lanes violations, a stop sign violation and OVI on July 5.

A College Corner Pike resident reported he got into a dispute with a known subject who threatened to return with a gun and shoot him on July 10.

Leslie Anne Ballinger, 19, and Rocky Schriever, 24, 5201 College Corner Pike #88, were arrested when police forced entry after domestic disturbance. Schriever had an active warrant through Butler County and Ballinger was cited for obstructing justice on July 13.

Matthew Sayers, 23, 520 Brookview Court, was charged with criminal trespassing and obstructing official business after being found in the Oxford Police Impound Lot on July 5.

The father of a Juvenile reported injuries that occurred to his child while at the grandmother's home on July 7.

A Foxfire Drive resident reported the windshield of his car was shattered and there were scrapes across the entire hood between parking in the Fox and Hounds parking lot in June when he left the U.S. and returned on July 4.

A Wal-Mart employee reported items were stolen from the store on July 10.

An East Chestnut Street resident reported cleaning products were placed inside his apartment that did not belong to him and items were also removed from the apartment even though his apartment wasn't scheduled to be cleaned by the landlord's subcontractors on July 9.

An Arrowhead Drive resident reported his unlocked bicycle was stolen from the basement area of the apartment complex July 8.
