The Lou Eves Municipal Pool in mason will be closed Thursday, July 3 for the City of Mason Red, Rhythm & Boom event featuring Creedence Clearwater Revisited and Grand Funk Railroad. The pool will be open from noon to 9 p.m. on Friday, July 4.
Lou Eves Municipal Pool pass holders will be able to use the indoor pool at the Mason Community Center on July 3 during business hours. The Community Center will close at 6 p.m. on July 3 in honor of the city's Independence Day celebration.
Lou Eves Municipal Pool is in Corwin M. Nixon Park off Mason-Montgomery Road. The main entrance drive is opposite the entrance to the Mason Intermediate Campus. Beginning July 7, follow the detours to enter at nearby Lakeside Drive or Foxfield Drive off Mason-Montgomery.
Registration for Session 3 of morning swim lessons at the outdoor pool is Thursday through Saturday, July 17-19. Session 4 registration is July 31 through Aug. 2.
Closings and cancellations
City of Mason offices will be closed on Friday, July 4 in honor of Independence Day. There will be no changes in trash pickup. City-operated brush pick-up for Friday will be canceled.
The Mason Community Center holiday hours will be in effect for Thursday, July 3, and Friday, July 4. The center will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days.
