Hamilton Twp. police seek suspect in attempted rape

Monday, June 30, 2008

Staff Report

The Hamilton Twp. Police Department is investigating a report of an attempted rape that occurred at 3:10 p.m. Sunday, June 29 at the Extreme Car Wash at 5436 S. Ohio 48 in Hamilton Twp.

Police said the suspect, a male white or possibly Hispanic, left northbound on Ohio 48 in a late-model full-sized pickup truck described as bright blue. The truck was either a four-wheel drive or was "jacked up" and possibly had a yellow or orange sticker of some type in the rear window behind the driver. The truck also had a black tool box mounted in the front of the truck bed.

Anyone with information about this incident should contact the Hamilton Twp. Police Department at (513) 683-0538 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or, at any other time, the Warren County Communications Center and ask for a Hamilton Twp. police officer.
