Hamilton Twp. boy rescued from river recovers

A 6-year-old Hamilton Twp. boy rescued from the Little Miami River Wednesday, June 18 has recovered, officials said today, June 19.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. Wednesday rescue officials responded to a call of a boy in the water at Cones Road in Hamilton Twp. Officials said they are not sure how the boy, who was swimming with his mother at the time, got pulled under the water.
The boy, who was not identified, was responsive and talking when officials arrived, according to the Loveland Police Department. He was airlifted to Children's Hospital.
Loveland police said today the boy was responsive and talking when he was rescued and is now "doing fine."
