A 22-year-old Miami University student was allegedly found intoxicated and nude, standing on a loft at the rear of an East High Street property on June 6.

Benjamin D. Robinson, 11500 Twin Mills Lane, Chardon, was reportedly leaning over a condensing unit that was on the loft at 2:15 a.m. Officers attempted to speak with Robinson and said they quickly realized he was heavily intoxicated.
Police noticed Robinson trying to stand up and ordered him to sit down until they could safely retrieve him from the 15-foot high loft.
The Oxford Fire Department was called in to assist with getting Robinson down from the loft and rescue workers were able to pull him through a small opening between two buildings that police believe he initially crawled through to get to the loft.
Officers retrieved a set of scrubs for McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital to clothe the nude Robinson, who reportedly was emitting the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage from his breath.
Robinson was charged with indecent exposure, public intoxication and criminal trespass before police transported him to Butler County Jail.
Man threatened with machete over babysitting spat
An Oxford man told police a known suspect threatened to cut him with a machete in the trunk of his car.
The 29-year-old man said the suspect had made derogatory comments about him on May 31 and at around 12:50 a.m. threatened his life, saying "he would cut me up with the machete knife he has in the trunk of his car."
The victim said the suspect made the threats because he and his wife would not babysit the suspect's girlfriend's children that evening. Police reportedly referred the victim to court, so he could file charges himself.
Abandoned dog rescued from sweltering trailer
Oxford Police helped rescue an abandoned dog from a College Corner Pike trailer on June 6, long after the animal's owner moved out.
Officers made contact with the owner of the trailer, who informed them a female tenant with the last name of Robinson was behind on her rent. Upon checking the door of the trailer, police found two notices from the City of Oxford that the subject's water had been turned off.
The landlord reportedly opened the door of the trailer and police observed a black and white Spaniel mix in the trailer, which they estimate was between 90 and 95 degrees inside. Officers said the trailer's floor was covered in feces and no food or water had been left out for the dog.
Police contacted animal control, who responded to the scene and successfully removed the dog from the trailer.
Screaming woman arrested, wanted to 'prove a point'
A 39-year-old woman was arrested June 1 when she alledgedly refused to stop screaming profanities from a College Corner Pike parking lot.
Kimberly Isaacs, 5032 College Corner Pike #31, was reportedly standing in a parking lot near her home, yelling and screaming profanities at the surrounding area. Police attempted to calm Isaacs, but said she would not quit yelling and only got louder as time went on.
Officers said they told Isaacs she would be arrested if she did not stop, prompting her to tell them she wanted to be arrested to prove a point.
When Isaacs continued her verbal tirade, officers arrested her for disorderly conduct and transported her to the Butler County Jail.
